Behold, the first blog post.

Hello one and all, and welcome to Film Bluster. This is my inaugural blog post, so I’ll just be giving you an overview of what this blog is about. This blog will be solely dedicated to commentary of movies, TV, books, music occasionally, and, I guess, pop culture in general. Yeah the name’s Film Bluster, but the name Film TV Movie Book and sometimes Music Bluster is just too long, and the URL would be a total bitch to type. Like they say, brevity is the soul of wit. And to those who would ask ‘What’s brevity?’ I would say ‘Google it, genius.’ In case you couldn’t tell, I’m a total wiseass. On this blog, I will be talking about movies I like, things I think are underrated, things that are a bit obscure that I want to share with people, and a lot of other things that I’ll figure out later. What I will not be doing is shit-talking. Online nerd culture has become, in many ways, just an excuse to do this and I won’t have any part of it (for the most part). I want to celebrate the things that I enjoy, not nitpick little details or bitch and moan about casting or a million other little things. I’m not going to talk about celebrity gossip and who’s dating who, and so on and so forth. If that’s what you want, stick to TMZ or the beauty parlor. Also, I’ll do my best to keep politics out of the mix. I’m definitely left of center, but that needn’t concern you. Yeah, I used the word ‘needn’t’. Get over it. Overall, this is a place to celebrate the movies, TV show, books, and music that I’m enthusiastic about. Oh, and I’m a foulmouthed motherfucker, so expect some curse words here and there, and a few other places.
